Why Choose Fite Law?

Carleigh Fite Attorney at Law Colorado Springs Family Law

About Carleigh Fite

A native of Oklahoma, Carleigh served as a judicial clerk for the District and Supreme Courts of Oklahoma before moving to Colorado to enjoy the great outdoors. Prior to becoming the Legal Services Director at a non-profit in Colorado Springs where she primarily served victims of domestic violence, she practiced Federal Indian Law and worked as a local prosecutor.

Carleigh’s experience has made her a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic violence. Domestic violence is a complicated legal topic, and Carleigh focuses largely on supporting survivors in court along their journey toward healing.

Although most of Carleigh’s clients are adults, she also serves as a Guardian ad Litem (“GAL”) and Child Legal Representative (“CLR”). She is appointed by the court in dependency and neglect and domestic cases to serve the best interests of children. Advocating for the health, safety, and well-being of children is critical, and Carleigh is proud to serve our community in this role.
